How to collect potions, what power is and what long chains leave behind
Drag across matching neighbouring potions — three or more make a chain. Chains build power: the more you have, the more every chain scores.
Diagonal neighbours count too.
Power
The score multiplier. Every chain raises it — up to ×8; without chains it melts away
After a chain power does not melt for 1.2 s — start the next one in time.
Score and power per chain
| Potions in a chain | Score | Power |
|---|---|---|
| 3 | 30 | +0.6 |
| 4 | 60 | +0.7 |
| 5 | 100 | +0.8 |
| 6 | 160 | +0.9 |
| 7 | 250 | +1 |
| 8 | 400 | +1.1 |
| each one more | +150 | +0.1 |
Scores are before the multiplier: power multiplies them. The power gain is in its steps.
What a long chain leaves
| Potions in a chain | What happens |
|---|---|
| 4 or more potions | The burst jumps to the same potions nearby — a chain reaction. |
| 5 or more potions | Bomb. Run a chain through the bomb and it blasts everything around |
| 7 or more potions · from level 11 | Lightning rune. Run a chain through the rune and it clears its whole row and column |
| 4 or more potions | It may drop a find — a rare item. |
| 8 or more potions | Counts toward the crafter's geode. |
Each potion hit by a blast or a chain reaction gives 20 points before the multiplier.
Golden star
Waits 5 s. A chain through it counts double and adds 5 s
A golden star appears at most 4 times a round — except on levels where catching stars is the goal: there it comes more often.
Staff charge
Chains charge the staff: 28 potions. When it is full — tap the button
