The Notice Board

The Notice Board

Ding · herald game character

Hear ye, hear ye! The board carries only what the game already has. What isn't there, I don't ring about.

What the game already has

  • The arena's common room, timed crafting and the hero page

The arena has a common room of requests: a request shows the hero's name and level, the format and the open seats, and nobody picks an opponent — the game deals the seats. In this version every rival and teammate in the arena is a hero run by the game. In the forge crafting takes time: half an hour for a gem, and you can close the game. A tap on a name opens the hero page. And the round screen has a new panel: the goal in words, how much is left and a bar to the three stars.

  • A first fight with a lesson, Blub's advice and two sets

Before your first arena fight Blub gives three hints: how to make a move, when the rival moves and whose health is where. The first arena win brings a one-time XP bonus. The skill points sheet has an “As Blub advises” button: he suggests where to put the points. And the market has two legendary sets, Mirage and Aegis: the game holds over a hundred and fifty items.

  • Blub teaches from the first screen

Blub shows you around the town, and the round lessons happen right on the board: how to draw a chain and how to keep the power up. If a guardian wins the first time, Blub gives you a booster.

  • A market of stalls, and sparks for currency

The market has five stalls: gear, boosters, scrolls, lives and sparks. There are over a hundred and fifty items. Sparks are the game's only currency: they come from XP. The game has no real-money purchases.

  • The guide on this site is the one in the game

The Laboratory now holds the guide exported from the game: rules, numbers and a search over them.

  • Getting ready for the App Store

The first version will be free: no ads, no purchases, no sign-up, and it plays offline. We will name the release date once it is known.

  • Professions: smith and enchanter

You can now pick a profession in the forge. A smith cuts gems from minerals and sets them into rings and amulets; an enchanter opens a second socket in an item for a time. The forge opens at hero level 6 once the first guardian is beaten. Ten gems, five tiers.

  • The town of mages became a painting

The game's home screen is a painted square: the gate to the worlds, the market, the notice board, the arena, the Hall of Fame and the forge. Townsfolk greet you in their rooms, and Blub gives short tours.

  • The Mage Arena and the Hall of Names

One-on-one duels and team fights on a shared board, a weekly table and twelve medals. In this version every rival and teammate in the arena is a hero run by the game: the game itself says so.

  • Two hundred levels and seven guardians

The game has 200 levels in two worlds. Every tenth one is a fight with a chapter guardian: seven different guardians, each with two tricks and a short “school” before your first meeting.

There is no release date here: we will name it once it is known.
